Competitive Acrobatics

Are you interested in Competitive Gymnastics?

TGI has launched Competitive Acrobatics, a discipline of gymnastics where gymnasts work in partnerships and perform routines consisting of acrobatic skills, dance and tumbling, set to music.

What are we looking for?

Athletes who love gymnastics, have an interest in competing but may not want to do all the artistic events at a competitive level. Do you love tumbling? Do you like working as a team or with a partner? Are you an athlete who is flexible and loves to dance? This program may be the right fit for you.

What Ages?

Acrobatics starts as young as 5 years but athletes can continue in this sport as a competitive athlete longer than artistic gymnastics. Working in partnerships allows you to continue to participate in Acro for several additional years.

How many hours a week do they train?

Starting at 8 hours/week athletes would work on their individual and partner skills to get ready for competition. Training hours will increase as your skills improve, up to 12 to 16 hours/week for the higher levels.
